How it works

  1. Step 1: Apply

Online, on paper, or with an agency worker you trust.

  2. Step 2: We review

Our Program Coordinator scores every application against the same written rubric.

  3. Step 3: Volunteers decide

A volunteer committee makes the call. At least one member has no ties to our board.

  4. Step 4: We pay your landlord

Directly, every month. We check in once a year.

Who isn’t eligible

Our directors and officers, their relatives, and anyone not at arm’s length from them. Rental units owned by companies related to our directors aren’t eligible.
